ABOUT US

Bryden Construction and Transport Co. Inc. has been in the heavy equipment industry for the past 53 years on various locations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. Originating in Arborfield, Saskatchewan, the company was founded in 1969 by brothers Brian and Bill Bryden.  In the mid ‘70s, Brian became the sole owner of the company when Bill turned to farming to earn his living. Our projects usually involve Road Building, Sylviculture (forestry), Equipment Hauling, Oil Leases, Trenching, Gravel Hauling, Ripping, Lagoons, Linings, Site Development and Drainage.  Bryden Construction also has bonding capabilities in both provinces and holds a current COR certificate in heavy construction safety.

Bryden Construction is a self-contained operation.  The company transports all of their own equipment including machinery, bunkhouses and cooking quarters to each jobsite.  During the earth-moving season, Bryden Construction employs fifteen to fifty operators, as well as mechanics, labourers, cooks and office staff.  The majority of our business is dedicated to constructing new roads and highways, although a smaller portion involves transporting equipment. Brian, CEO/President, Phyllis Pogany, Corporate Vice President, and Barry Bryden, Vice President of Operations, ensure that each project is executed efficiently and with the highest standards of workmanship.

Brian and Phyllis live on a farm near Arborfield, Saskatchewan, which is still the home base for operations of Bryden Construction.
